This Washington, DC townhouse was transformed into multiple units, including a three-story unit with views focused on the sky and garden, as well as a two-story penthouse featuring a modern interpretation of Victorian aesthetics. The interplay of virtual cylinders and spheres define the edges of openings and other design elements, such as the indoor-outdoor pond in the rear unit and the S-curved winding stair in the Penthouse.

Recipient of an American Institute of Architects – Washington, DC Chapter design award.
